The Public Services Quality Group for archives and local studies
(PSQG) conducts a survey of visitors to UK archives every eighteen
months. The survey asks a number of questions about users'
experiences of the archive. Bath Record Office always scores
very highly for visitor satisfaction.
From the results of the latest survey, carried out in
February-March 2011, we have compiled a chart
which follows the visitor experience from pre-visit need for
information to overall satisfaction, showing how the Record
Office's service is rated at each stage. See the
chart.
