Black History Matters - Online Exhibition

This online exhibition will explore the presence of black people in Bath from the 18th century to today. We aim to reveal some lesser-known stories alongside more prominent personalities associated with Bath’s history.

Bath Record Office would love to hear from you if you have stories to tell or records, in any format, which document ethnic minority communities in Bath. It is so important to capture the lives of our diverse communities in Bath & North East Somerset so that future generations can better understand our society.
